Yamaha MT 15 V2 is now available in the Indian market. The Japanese manufacturer officially launched their much-awaited bike for INR 1.60 lakhs(ex-showroom Delhi).

The all-new MT 15 2.0 is an advanced version of the Yamaha MT 15. It now offers updated hardware, styling, and features.
Looks
Yamaha MT 15 V2 is a naked sports bike that is now sharper and wider in design. This bike is updated with a sculpted fuel tank and a wider handlebar.
The advanced version now offers new graphical styling. Moreover, it now has a LED headlight along with a bulb indicator.
This bike has been offered with a raised LED taillight on the rear section giving it sleeky and edgy styling. It comes with an easy-to-hold grab-bar that provides a better grip for the pillion rider.
Additionally, this motorcycle gets four different color variants: Mat Light Gray Metallic 4, Pastel Dark Grey, Deep Purplish Blue, and Black Metallic X.
Performance
The all-new MT 15 2.0 is powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valve, SOHC engine that meets BS6 compliance. It can produce 18.4 PS peak power along with the max torque of 14.1 NM at the rate of 7500 rpm.

Similarly, the fuel injection system provides a sharper and quicker throttle response. It also offers a multiple-disc wet clutch type as they are quieter at idle with high torque transmission capacity.
Dimensions
Talking about the exterior dimension, V2 MT 15 kerb weight is 139 kg. This bike extends up to 2015 mm long, 800 mm wide, and 1070 mm high.
Moreover, it offers a seat height of 810 mm along with a ground clearance of 170 mm. Additionally, it has a 10-liter fuel tank capacity and a wheelbase of 1325 mm.
Hardware
All new MT 15 V2 now gets a 27 mm telescopic upside-down front fork and rear linked-type preload-adjustable mono-shock.
The dual disc brake of 282 and 220 mm at the front and rear section provides better handling. The safety feature includes a single-channel ABS.
Moreover, this bike gets the 17-inch alloy wheel for the front section of 100/80 and the rear with a 140/70 section radial tire.

The all-new generation Yamaha costs INR 160,000 in India (ex-showroom Delhi). Given this pricing, the Yamaha MT 15 V2 price in Nepal is expected to be more than Rs. 500,000.

This is only a prediction, and given the recent price increase in Nepal's two-wheeler market, it might be considerably higher. As a result, we'll have to wait until the official release to learn the precise cost.
Yamaha has not revealed any official information on the MT 15 V2 launch date in Nepal. However, it is expected to launch by end of 2022.
