Due to the excessive popularity of the MT-15, there had been difficulties in meeting the demands. Now the bikes are likely to be received in time for customers.
Yamaha MT-15 is also known as “The Dark Warrior” which was the first BS6-compliant Yamaha bike to enter Nepal. Additionally, it is included as the top-selling bike in the Nepalese market.
Looks
As per the looks, Yamaha MT-15 is a lightweight hyper naked bike with an intimidating style and amazing performance. It gives agile riding including short raising tail, sitting positions, and also the front winglets including Bi functional LED headlights and raised LED taillight which gives true warrior vibes.
Interestingly, it is accessible in six different colors: Metallic Black, Dark Matte Blue, Ice Fluo Vermillion, Dark Matt Blue – Neon Green, Metallic Black – Vermillion, and Ice Fluo – Neon Green.
Performance
The Yamaha MT-15 is powered by a 155 cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The motor can deliver 18.5 PS of maximum power at 1000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of maximum torque at 8500 rpm.
Dimensions
As for dimensions, it has a length of 2020 mm, a width of 800 mm, and a height of 1070 mm. This bike comes with a wheelbase of 1335 mm and a weight of 138 kg. It has a ground clearance of 170mm and a seat height of 810mm. Lastly, the mileage of the engine is about 45 Kmpl.
Features
MT-15 BS6 has a proper digital dashboard that shows a speedometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, odometer, and tachometer.
Hardware
Talking about the hardware, this motorcycle features tubeless tyres of 100/80 section at the front and 130/70 section of radial tyre at the rear section. The front and rear brake type is a hydraulic single disc. As per the braking system, it comes only with a Single-Channel ABS. Interestingly, it offers a telescopic fork and linked-type monocross suspension for both the front and rear sections respectively.

The price of MT-15 is Rs. 4.94 Lakhs for the standard variant. Likewise, the CYM variant cost Rs. 4.99 Lakhs respectively.
