TVS Jupiter 125 was finally unveiled in India today. It is built on an entirely new platform and includes an entirely new engine and features.
The company expanded its lineup with the introduction of the all-new TVS Jupiter 125.
TVS Jupiter 125 Overview
In terms of design, the new 125cc Jupiter is nearly identical to its 110cc sibling, with a few minor differences. The most noticeable changes are the redesigned turn indicators located on the front apron.
The front face of the scooter looks more aggressive in this edition, thanks to new, sharper LED DRLs. It has distinctive commuter scooter design components including a single-piece seat with a grab rail for the pillion, alloy wheels, and handlebar headlight clusters.
The new TVS Jupiter 125 is powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is BS6 compliant. Furthermore, it also has TVS' Eco-Thrust Fuel-injection technology. This motor produces 8.3 PS of peak power at 6000 RPM and 10.5 Nm of max torque at 4500 RPM.
It also receives the Intelli-Go technology, which aids in fuel economy. Moreover, the company says that the new TVS Jupiter 125 is the best-in-class in terms of starting acceleration and fuel economy.
This Jupiter 125 scooter weighs 108 kg and has a 5.1-litre fuel tank. It features a wheelbase of 1275 mm and a saddle height of 765 mm.
Furthermore, it has the best under-seat storage capacity in the class, with 32 litres that can hold two helmets at the same time.
