Gova 05 is a premium electric scooter from the NIU Gova series. It offers more power and riding range making it suitable for city commuting.
Looks
Talking about looks, NIU Gova 05 gets the same minimalistic styling as its younger sibling, Gova 03. It has an H-shaped matrix LED headlamp and LED indicators upfront.
The side panel looks sleek and clean along with a few cuts and lines. At the rear section, you get a LED taillight and pillion grab bar.
The seat is wider and more comfortable. Furthermore, there is adequate space for both rider and passenger.

In addition, it is available in three different colour options: Red, Grey and White.
Performance
All-new 4th gen NIU Lithium-ion battery along with Bosch motor powers Gova 05. It can generate a max power of 3900W and reach a top speed of 85 Kmph.
The 72V, 45Ah power unit delivers a claimed range of 85-100 km based on different modes. It takes normal 6-7 hours to get fully charged.
Moreover, it also comes with a FOC motor control solution for real-time data processing and linear power supply.
Dimensions
In terms of exterior dimension, Gova 05 is 2008mm in length, 685mm in width, and 1166mm in height. It has a seat height of 807mm while ground clearance is 140mm.
Hardware
Gova 05 is built on High-quality carbon structural steel. As for the suspension units, it gets the hydraulic damping upfront and spring air damping at the rear section.
The 220mm disc at the front and 180mm disc help to stop the scooter. Interestingly, it comes with an electronic braking system (EBS) that regenerates power when a brake is applied.
