The 2022 KTM RC 390 has now finally arrived in India.
The much-anticipated bike has been launched already, which costs INR 3.13 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Looks
In terms of appearance, the RC 390 continues its remarkable looks and aggressive design. It now has a new front end and comes along with a new single headlamp with two LED DRLs-cum-indicators on each side.
This bike gets finished in faux carbon fiber material. In addition, it now gets new fairings, a bigger visor, and new mirrors. Along with that it also has a more muscular tank and updated split seats with new covers.
Moreover, it comes in two new color options: KTM Factory Racing Blue and KTM Electronic Orange which is inspired by Redbull KTM’s MotoGP bike.
Engine
The 373.27cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine in the RC 390 is still the same. As a result, it produces 43.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 37 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
However, this motorcycle gets a ride-by-wire system that ensures more precise engine mapping and traction control.

This bike has a six-speed gearbox for optimum rider control on the street and track. It now has a smoother, hard-hitting power delivery.
Nevertheless, it continues to get a BS6-compliant engine with Electronic Fuel injection (FI) technology.
Dimensions
Moving on to measurements, it has the same length of 2145 mm, the width of 760 mm, and the height of 830 mm. The kerb weight of 390 RC is 172 kg.
Moreover, it now has a seat height of 824 mm and a wheelbase of 1340 mm. This bike has a fuel tank of 13.7 liters and a ground clearance of 153 mm.
Hardware
In terms of hardware, the KTM RC 390 offers premium components like an adjustable WP Apex fork and a trellis frame with a revised sub-frame.
A 320 mm front disc brake and a 230 mm rear disc brake are included on this bike. It also incorporates a dual-channel ABS braking system to help avoid pre-crash situations and crashes.
Moreover, this bike comes with a 17-inch wheel of 110/70 section at the front and 150/60 section at the rear.

In addition, the RC 390 now has slimmer 5-spoke alloy wheels, which should minimize unsprung mass and improve the RC 390's already outstanding ride dynamics.
Features
The new 2022 model now gets a TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity. It has a speedometer, tachometer, trip meter, low battery indication, and oil and fuel indicator.
Along with that, it gets full-LED illumination, a slipper clutch, and a quick shifter.

The 2022 KTM RC 390 is priced at INR 3.13 Lakhs in India (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Considering this, the latest KTM RC 390 price in Nepal is expected to be higher than Rs. 9.95 lakhs.

In terms of a launch date, this motorbike may not be available anytime soon due to a government ban on the import of motorcycles with engines higher than 250cc. However, by the end of 2022, it should be able to enter the Nepalese market.
