KTM has finally launched the all-new 390 Adventure in the Indian market.
They revealed their much-anticipated 2022 model, which would cost INR 3.31 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Following the successful launch of the KTM Adventure 390 in India, there will undoubtedly be some debate and discussion about the bike's launch date and price in Nepal. We will talk about them in a moment.

KTM Adventure 390 Overview
The KTM Adventure 390 is a powerful adventure-touring motorcycle. It now comes with stylish graphics, dual riding modes, and updated features.
Looks
In terms of appearance, Adventure 390 continues its remarkable looks and aggressive design. The motorcycle has a low front fender with excellent aerodynamics.
It also includes a windscreen and tapered metal handlebars. This bike has LED headlights, taillights, and DRLs for excellent visibility everywhere.
In addition, The KTM Adventure 390 incorporates a grab rail to provide passengers with a good grip, making the ride quite comfortable. This motorcycle also includes a split seat for further convenience and handling on rough terrain.
Moreover, it comes in two new color options: KTM Factory Racing Blue and Dark Galvano Black.
The KTM Factory Racing Blue has a three-tone finish of blue, orange, and white. Similarly, Dark Galvano Black appears more distinct. Both shades have updated graphics as well.
Performance
The Adventure 390 gets the same 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. As a result, it delivers 42.3 bhp of peak power at 9,000 rpm and 37 Nm of max torque at 7,000 rpm.
Nevertheless, it continues to get a BS6-compliant engine with Fuel injection (FI) technology.

This bike has a six-speed gearbox for smooth riding whether it is street rides or challenging offroad escapes. It is now equipped with a Quick-shifter that makes gear shifting fast.
Dimensions
Moving on to measurements, it has the same length of 2154 mm, the width of 900 mm, and the height of 1400 mm. The kerb weight of 390 Adventure is 163 kg.
Moreover, it now has a seat height of 855 mm and a wheelbase of 1430 mm. This bike has a fuel tank of 14.5 liters and a ground clearance of 200 mm.
Hardware
In terms of hardware, the KTM Adventure 390 has a steel trellis powder-coated frame. It has a WP APEX 43 front suspension and a WP APEX Monoshock rear suspension.
This bike features a 320 mm front disc brake and a 230 mm rear disc brake. It also has a switchable dual-channel ABS braking system to help avoid precrash and crashes.
Moreover, this bike comes with a 19-inch wheel of 100/90 section at the front and a 17-inch with 130/80 section at the rear.
It now has five-spoke alloy wheels instead of the previous model’s six-spoke. These wheels are both stronger and lighter than the old ones.

The new 2022 model now gets electronic updates in the form of two riding modes for the Traction Control system- Street and Offroad. The offroad mode enables easier use of bikes in loose or wet terrain.
The KTM Adventure 390 comes with a fully digitized instrument cluster with a TFT screen. It has a speedometer, tachometer, trip meter, low battery indication, and oil and fuel indicators.

KTM Adventure 390 Price in Nepal 2023
The KTM Adventure 390 price in Nepal is Rs. 10,89,900 for the 2021 variant. Likewise, the 2022 variant is expected to cost around Rs. 11 Lakhs.
However, this is only an estimate, and we will have to wait until the launch to find the actual pricing.

Talking of the launch date, this motorcycle might not be released anytime soon due to a ban from the Government on the import of higher than 250cc motorcycles. However, it can enter the Nepalese market by the end of 2022.
In terms of competition, it will go up against the BMW G310 GS and Royal Enfield Himalayan.
