Yamaha R15 V4 is now available in Nepal. It was one of the most-anticipated bikes from the Japanese two-wheeler brand.
MAW Enterprises, the official importer and distributor of Yamaha bikes has finally launched the next-generation R15 in the Nepalese market.
Talking of cost, R15 V4 price in Nepal is Rs. 5,74,900-Rs. 5,84,900.
R15 Version 4 is an entry-level sports racing bike. Moreover, it now comes loaded with amazing features, new styling inspired from the R7, and other updates.

Yamaha R15 V4 Overview
The Yamaha R15 V4 is the fourth generation of the legendary R15, sharing the same DNA as the super sports YZF R1. Furthermore, it has been enhanced in terms of style and features to suit current demands.
Looks
R15 V4 gets a major makeover in terms of looks. It incorporates Yamaha's new design language inspired by the R series.
The bike replaces the previous model's twin-pod headlight with an all-new bi-functional LED headlight. Furthermore, the redesigned headlamp is complemented by twin LED DRLs.
Similarly, the body panels have also been redesigned, along with new graphics. It now gets an M air-duct full-fairing styling.
The rear section, on the other hand, has not been changed and remains the same as the R15 V3. A new side-slung exhaust system and a step-up seat are among the other design elements.
Furthermore, this racing sports motorcycle is available in three colors: Racing Blue, Dark Knight, and Metallic Red.
Engine
Talking about performance, there has not been any updates. Yamaha R15 V4 is powered by the same 155cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine.

It produces 18.4PS of peak power at 10,000 rpm and max torque of 14.2Nm torque at 7,500 rpm. Moreover, Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) comes standard on the BS6-compliant motor.
The motorcycle has a six-speed gearbox along with a slip-and-assist clutch. Additionally, the Racing Blue variant gets extra support from a Quickshifter.
Dimensions
The exterior dimensions of R15 V4 are 1990mm in length, 725mm in width, and 1135mm in height. It is a lightweight track racing bike weighing only 142 kg.
The ground clearance of this motorcycle measures 170mm. Likewise, the seat height of 815mm even makes it a suitable ride for riders with short heights.
It is also equipped with an 11-litre fuel tank capacity. As for fuel efficiency, it can deliver a claimed mileage of 48 Kmpl.
Hardware
The biggest updates on hardware of Yamaha R15 V4 include all-new Upside-down (USD) front forks. It also gets a golden coating giving the bike a premium look.
However, the preload-adjustable Mono shock suspension and Deltabox frame are identical to the previous version.
A 282mm front disc with a twin-piston caliper and a 220mm rear disc with a single-piston caliper handle the braking duties. For extra safety features, dual-channel ABS is provided as standard.
R15 Version 4 comes on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 100/80 upfront. Another biggest update of the bike is a wider 140/70 radial tubeless tyre at the rear.
Features
R15 V4 comes with a redesigned digital instrument console that supports Bluetooth communication via the Yamaha Y-Connect app. It has call/SMS notifications, phone battery status, and even a lap timer in its instrument cluster.
