The motorcycle also features a raised fuel tank with a capacity of 12 liters. Furthermore, it can get a mileage of about 45km per liter under real-world riding conditions.
Hardware
Moving towards hardware, FZ is built on a regular diamond chassis from Yamaha. When it comes to suspension, it has telescopic forks upfront and a monocross link in the rear section.

It also features a large 267mm hydraulic front disc brake and a 130mm drum brake in the rear. Other internal hardware is identical to that of the FZS V2, however, the bike does lack ABS.
