TVS Raider 125 is now more expensive in Nepal. The motorcycle has received its first price hike of Rs. 9,000 after the launch.
In terms of the latest cost, TVS Raider 125 price in Nepal is Rs. 2,59,900.
Jagadamba Motors, the official distributor of TVS bikes in Nepal introduced this much-anticipated bike last year.
However, it is not a newcomer in the 125cc segment. The company currently sells two other models in the same category: Stryker and Max.
With that said, let's dive into a quick overview of the upcoming TVS Raider 125 along with features and specifications.
TVS Raider 125 Overview
The new Raider is a sporty 125cc commuter motorcycle offered by TVS. It offers decent fuel efficiency, power and style as compared to the similar bikes in the category.
Looks
TVS Raider gets a modern design spirit of innovation with a unique and aggressive theme. It comes with an attractive all-new LED headlight, angular LED DRLs, and a fender up front.
The bike has a Raider logo on the side panel and a 3D TVS logo on the fuel tank. Similarly, an engine cowl, and a split-seat with an aluminium grab rail, and LED taillights are among the other design aspects.

With its attractive appearance, it will undoubtedly appeal to young people. Furthermore, TVS provides two color options: Striking Red and Wicked Black.
Engine
Raider is equipped with a 124.8cc, air-oil cooled, single-cylinder engine that can deliver 12.9 PS of peak power and 11.5 Nm torque. Surprisingly, it has three valves whereas many 150cc motorcycles still come with 2 valves.
Unfortunately, the engine is a BS4 carburetor in the Nepalese variant while an Indian variant comes with FI BS6-compliant.
The gearbox has a five-speed transmission and can reach a top speed of 99kmph. Furthermore, the 0-60kmph acceleration time is only 5.9 seconds, which is the quickest in this class.
Dimensions
The weight of Raider 125 measures only 120 kg making it a lightweight everyday bike. Furthermore, it has a 10-liter fuel tank capacity and can deliver a claimed mileage of 65 Kmpl.
The higher 181mm ground clearance is another great aspect. Moreover, this motorcycle is also perfect for riders with short height because of its 780mm seat height.
Hardware
The suspension units feature 30mm telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. When it comes to the braking system, TVS Raider has Sync braking technology.
The brakes are handled by drum units at both ends in the base variant. However, the disc variant uses a 240mm disc up front and a 130mm drum in the rear.
The tyres are tubeless and provide a better grip on the roads of Nepal. Moreover, the 80/100-section front and 100/90-section rear tyres are fitted to the 17-inch alloy wheels.
Features
TVS Raider comes with lots of unique and first-in-class features. These include a Gear shift and position indicator, a top speed recorder, and an Engine kill switch.
