Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 is now finally available in India. Royal Enfield officially launched its much-anticipated bike with lots of upgrades in body framework, performance, and features.
Talking of cost, the price of Royal Enfield Classic 350 in India starts at INR 1.8 Lakhs for the base variant and goes up to INR 2.51 Lakhs for the top variant.
The Classic 350 is one of the most popular cruiser motorcycles in the Indian and Nepalese markets. Moreover, it is also the top-selling model from Royal Enfield in both countries.
After the successful launch of the RE’s updated 2021 model in a neighbouring country, there is also some hype and rumours going on in Nepal regarding its pricing and launch date.
However, let's first know more about the all-new Royal Enfield Classic 350 from its short overview followed by amazing features and specifications.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 Overview
Design
The overall design and bodywork of the next-gen Classic 350 look similar to the previous model. Royal Enfield has kept the old-school vibe and style that fully represents the label "Classic"!
It has the same rounded halogen headlamp, a curvy fuel tank, an analogue speedometer, a side-slung exhaust, and circular rear-view mirrors. However, it does have slight modifications such as a multi-reflector transparent lens, redesigned cockpits, side panels, branding logo, and buffed front forks.
The major changes have been done at the rear section with all-new lighting step up. Interestingly, it now comes with a USB charging port and a digital screen that can display trip meters, fuel gauge, odometer, and time.
Engine
Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 model gets a significant evolution in the motor. It is now powered by J-platform’s 349cc, single-cylinder engine which is identical to Meteor 350.
Meanwhile, it is not the same unit and differs in fueling, throttle response, and exhaust timing. The BS6-compliant engine can now deliver 20.2 BHP of peak power at 6100rpm and 27Nm of torque at 4000rpm.

Furthermore, it is mated with a 5-speed gearbox and can easily reach a top speed of 120 Kmph, which is quite amazing. The fuel-injected (FI) engine is much more refined and smooth compared to the older motorcycle.
Now, it does not vibrate as much as previously while riding only at the speed of 80 Kmph. So, that’s a plus point in terms of performance and riding experience.
Suspensions and Brakes
Under the hood, Classic 350 features a brand new double downtube spine frame. The suspension units include 130mm travel and fatter 41mm telescopic forks at the front.
At the rear, you get preloaded 6-step adjustable twin-tube emulsion shock absorbers. These make the bike more capable of handling bad Nepalese roads without any difficulties.
Braking is handled by a 300mm front disc brake and a 270mm rear disc brake with axial calipers. The Redditch series, on the other hand, has a front disc/rear drum system.
In terms of ABS, the bike has both a single-channel ABS and dual-channel ABS for better braking performance. Similarly, the 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels (spoke and alloy) are covered in 90-section and 120-section tyres, respectively.
Dimensions
The weight of the 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 measures 195kg which is 4kg heavier than the previous model. Similarly, the ground clearance, seat height, and wheelbase measure 170mm, 805mm, and 1390mm respectively.
The motorcycle also has a fuel tank capacity of 13 liters. In real-world riding conditions, it can get a mileage of around 35kmpl.
